In Coach Schweers 3rd season at Huntsville, the boys finished 23 - 7. The 23 wins in 2021 tied the school record for the most wins in school history (tied with 1992 and 1985). The back to back 20 win seasons in 2021 and 2020 were a first since 2012. Huntsville went 7-1 in area play and defeated Sparkman in the Championsip game to win its second Class 7A Area 7 Championship in Coach Schweers first three years. Huntsville beat #1 Vestavia Hills 58 to 34 in the first round of the playoffs. The Panthers then lost on a last second shot in the Elite-8.
